About me

Hello, I'm Elaine.

I'm a product designer based in Ireland.

I have with over five years of experience in the industry, specialising in Design Systems and UX/UI. I love making great digital products and turning tricky problems into simple solutions.

I am a human-centric designer with expertise in applying research techniques to user and client-focused projects. My strengths lie in UX and UI, with a particular emphasis on Design Systems. Over the past five years, I've guided a Design System from its inception to maturity. This journey has honed my skills in systems thinking, tokens, aligning best practices with patterns, internationalization, and accessibility.

On a personal note, I find great joy in caring for my houseplants. In my spare time, I often visit my favourite plant shop in Dublin's city centre or enjoy long walks and hikes in my home county of Laois, with by my sister's dog, Rosie. I'm also proud to be first aid certified—a skill that allows me to help others when needed.
